On the 15th ulltimate arrived here the little Carpenter and the great Warrior of Chotee, with their Party, they brought with them, two Frenchmen, and Twictwee Indian Woman Prisoners, Six Frenchmen's and Six Twectwee Indians Scalps. I reciv'd them with all the Marcks of Honour & Friendship I could, by Saluting them with the Fort's Guns, & having the Garison under Arms; I provided wictuals to refrech them, the young Fellows of the Gang, encampt just by the Fort, and great many of the Head Men staid with me all Night in the Fort. . .
