Sence My Return hear I have had Leters from Mr. Mckee the Comisary att Fort Pitt he Writes Me that the Shanneis Sent to Inferm him that Deputys from twelf Diferant Nations of the Westren Indians was coming to thire Cuntry to hold a Conferance with them & the Dalloways in order as those Deputys Give out to Setle Some old Diferances Subsisting between thire Nations (page 21) & that they hard from Sanduskey that a Number of the Sinicas was to attend this Great Meeting, the Shannaies Mesinger tould Mr. Mckee that thire Cheefs Suspected there was Somthing More then Comen to be Transacted otherwise Such a Number Wold Neaver Collect themselves togather att this Sason of the year Mr. Mckee has Sent Mr. Montour to attend this Meeting.

I have received your Excelancys Dispatchis fer Detroit & Misslamacnac and will observe your orders I Sett of in two Days and hope to be In the Shanna Cutnry before this Greatt Meeting of Inidans break up and hope to be able to give you A full account of the Cause of thire Assembly Togather I am with Greatt Respect.
