Dear Yeates- From Intelligence recd. Yesterday from the Delaware at Coochachunk, I find that the Tweetees, Wyachtanas, & Kickapoos, have returned (page 119) the Tomahawk, and that the Tribe of Delawares headed by Wendaughaland are Waivering. The Regular Troops at Detroit, amt. to no more than 70, & the Militia to 300, so that we need not dread a Visit from that Quarter, though the People here are well Disposed, savage like, to Murder a defenceless unsuspecting Indian...
