A good many of ye far Indians came ye 14th day of May 1719 to Albany & told that they had broke through all ye opposition yt Mr Tonti & the French had made to hinder their coming  The next day another considerable number came who told ye same of the French endeavouring to stop them  On ye 1st of June two more parties came one of them being Deonondadies & ye oyr Twihtwies that live on the Banks of Misissipi  These last said they were obliged to force their way agt ye French who indeavour'd to stop them

On ye 16th ye same month another party of ye Twightwies came to trade at Albany
