I am Curator of Collections at the Glenn A. Black Laboratory of Archaeology. I have applied my research interests in material culture, anthropology and technological practices to explore facets of daily life among pre-Columbian societies in North America and early state and village societies in the Near East.

My current North American research focuses on weaponry technologies in archaeological interpretation and practice. As curator at the GBL, I am involved in creating a materials research laboratory and leading initiatives to organize and digitally curate the laboratories extensive and unique archaeological and archival collections.
